Can you remake my favourite necklace?

Due to sourcing second hand, I cannot guarantee I will find that pendant again. However the next drop might have something you love even more!

Can you make changes to my necklace?

Each necklaces has been uniquely designed for you and come as pictured! I cannot make any changes to pendants or charms. However, if you are worried about the length and would like your necklace to be made longer, please specify at checkout.

Do you accept custom orders?

If you have your own sentimental pendants that you wish to see repurposed, please get in contact with me at hello@xantheficarra.com

Where do you source your materials?

The necklaces use a range of rings, brooches, necklaces, pendants and earrings sourced from second hand shops and markets. Materials are sourced locally in Melbourne and hand made at my home.

How do I care for my necklace?

Metals will oxidise with time and exposure to your skin and chemicals. Avoid water and cosmetics on the jewellery as this can accelerate oxidation. These pieces are intricately handmade so handle with care and gently rub with a polishing cloth after wear. Please note your necklace is not sterling silver but is made from a range of recycled mixed metals.

If the metals have tarnished or your necklace is lacking lustre, line a bowl with foil, add 1 tablespoon of Bi-carb Soda with warm water and soak jewellery for a coupe of minutes. Ensure the jewellery is touching the foil. You can use the foil to gentle rub away any tarnish.

Can I wear my necklace in water?

Try to keep your necklace out of water and away from perfume and make up. If this does happen, gently rub dry with a polishing cloth.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! I use AusPost shipping. Standard International Shipping is $25AUD and can take up 2-4 weeks to arrive.

Xanthe Ficarra does not cover any cost for international package arrival charges.

Do you offer refunds/repairs?

Unfortunately, I do not offer refunds. However, your necklace is under a 12 month warranty. During this time I can repair your necklace free of charge. After this - there will be a small fee on all repairs.
